The Matrix
Well, when I first saw I didn't even know what was going on because I was at a young age. The only main thing I paid attention to was the cool, new, and visual action that was taking place. I didn't care about the Agents and what they were or how Neo was the One, all that mattered to me then was the intense action. But things started to make sense and I watched it again one month before the release of Matrix Reloaded, I was like "Whoa! This guy is fighting to be the One! And he is!" So now I started paying more attention to things. That's when I watched the Animatrix and beleive me so, I became a Matrix expert after that viewing. I understood who the Agents really were and why Neo had to be the One.
The Matrix Reloaded
Well, when I first saw the Matrix Reloaded, I was eager to see more action sequences in there. Indeed, that's what the Wachowski Brothers served. Now when I first saw it, I was more concerned about the action so I paid a little more to the action than the story. The action sequences were intense and well choreographed especially the Chateau fight which is my favorite out of the trilogy. So when I left I forgot about the story so I saw it again the same day and then paid attention to the story. Then I knew everything. I thought the acting was supberb! The only reason to me was because I thought when Zion-Dwellers entered the Matrix they became emotionless hence all the straight faces. So that's what I thought about the acting. The only one scene that made me eyes teary was the speech sequences Morpheus gave before the plans to get to the Architect took place. Lovable little scene.
The Matrix Revolutions
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! What a great way to end a trilogy with this movie. I don't know if it was this time the acting or it was because I had a seat in the front row and always had to look up and had a neck ache all through the show. Anyways, when I first saw it, I was disappointed. But during the second viewing of the movie, I completely fell in love with the whole thing. The Siege now meant something to me now. Including Neo's sacrifice at the end when he lured Smith into the Machine Mainframe. His death saved the lives of many in my perspective. And so it shall be in my mind. Indeed, the Orcacle conversations seemes to drag all the time. When Morpheus asks a simple question it had to be answered in the most technical way when she could've just said yes or no. Things like: Morpheus: "What time is it?" The Oracle: "You know what time it is." It's just that sort of thing but beyond anything else, the Matrix Revolutions was a worthy effort to end a great trilogy. By the way, did you happen to see a little Dragonball Z affects happening whenever Neo and Smith collided into each other? The Official Website of Desmus Miridious Films! Check it out!
