Fantastic Four “Fantastic Four Rocks!” — griffolyon12 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Nothing Entered Yet! Movie Review: My thoughts on this movie... Going into this movie I thought it would be awful,but I was wrong.Fantastic Four is a great,fun movie that everyone will enjoy. The story starts where five scientists go up to space to examine a cosmic storm and the storm comes early and hits the group's space station when it has no shields.And the storm transforms the five into Mr. Fantastic,The Invisible Girl,The Thing,The Human Torch,and the evil Doctor Doom. To start things off the story was pretty good.The only real problems with it was that they changed a few minor details from the comic,but they aren't big enough to destroy the movie.One thing that I really loved is how well they took all of the comedic aspects from the comic and transferred to the movie.I also loved how the story moved quickly,it made it feel only an hour long.But again its strongpoint is also one of its few weaknesses,the pace sometimes moved so fast you missed some stuff.My only other real problem with it is that the final fight felt a little too short,it was so cool it should have been longer. But the rest of the movie was spectacular.The directing was very well done,the acting was also very good(especially Gruffud,Evans,and Chiklis).The sets,props,and costumes all looked spectacular and really cool,and the same goes for the special effects.If this movie didn't have such good special effects it would have fallen flat on its face,but it didn't.And not to mention the score,although it had no real memorable theme it was very good and fit the tone and mood of the movie well. All in all it was a great,fun movie that everyone will enjoy.If you see one movie this weekend go see the Fantastic Four,this movie rocks! DVD Review: N/A Thoughts on the DVD release of this movie...
