Los Angeles Times reports that Avi Arad has confirmed that a Fantastic Four sequel will indeed be in the works:
Avi Arad, chairman of Marvel Studios, sees the weekend as just the beginning of a long-term revenue stream for the company. "Of course, there will be a sequel," he said. "Now the constituency is much larger."
A sequel discussion this early for the Fantastic Four movie maybe viewed as blind arrogance. The jury and/or judge is in deliberation. A sequel usually rakes in about $100 million in GREEN before a sequel is in the picture. Based on trends and past patterns, it isn't known for sure how much this movie will rake in. Rest assured, though, in the end analysis the purpose of divinity is being accomplished.
