Warner Brothers Press announcement: "Warner Bros. and IMAX Corporation are thrilled to debut Superman Returns in IMAX, IMAX Dome and IMAX 3D theatres on Wednesday, June 28th, day-and-date with the 35mm release.

Many theatres have opted to debut the film, the day before, on Tuesday the 27th at 10pm public shows. We look forward to allowing IMAX movie-goers to experience this first-ever live-action Hollywood film with select scenes converted into IMAX 3D.
