Does anyone think that this stpry should be told for a sequel to this movie.

Yeah iknow its early for sequel talk but its Superman i mean its going to make money.

So Death of Superman movie, What do you think.

They should do three movies with Superman fighting Luthor, Brainiac, and like the Toyman or something. Then they should do The Death of Superman and The Reign of the Supermen.

I agree, if they ever were to do this storyline, which I think would be extremely cool, they should do it as a trilogy.

As much of the country is left stranded for Christmas due to a storm, I wonder what are their thoughts on the credibility of Global Warming? HAHA...

Well this one will feature the return of Superman. If they kill him they will then have to do a second "return of Superman" film.

I think it woulod have to be a trilogy, it was what burton was going to do.

(I would have posted it all seperatly but my computer is slow and stupid today)

i grew up reading superman comics, the old and the new. i have seen the progression of clark kent's character, but you can't roll all of them into one so i have to say that i like the respect payed to the first two supermen films. I enjoyed the return and it does make having a returns again tricky. they should have ended the return with, just after superman flew off of the screen, the music cuts and the screen goes dark. they then should have shown the camera panning down through the clouds and down towards some remote part of the united states, say somewhere in the upper midwest. we hear a dull thud and the ground trembles. pause, then again...only louder. again, again and then the screen goes dark again and the credits roll. that would have set up the next film perfectly which should be his death. i mean what better way to go then the world finally getting superman back, only to watch him get beat to death by a creature created by scientists from his homeworld in the past? better yet, he now has a son to watch it right beside lois and the rest of the world. then they could do superman lives and the trilogy is complete. and as far as superman vs batman goes, come on. what reason would they have to fight each other anyway? not to mention unless batman has some cryptonite, superman would crush him. after all batman is human or else they would call him superbatman.

That's why the superman returns title and idea was a bad move. It would've been better for them to save some of there returns ideas for the second or third film or simply say were starting over or pick a superman film to start after instead of saying it's between movies.

U would need a Super Villian 2 kill a Superman...Id have Lex Luthor, az a mobster who coruptz an already korupt police system so they want Superman dead. Have something happen 2 a cop like hez good at day evil at night mutate somehow into a Super Villian and have him kill Superman. They hate Superman because of hiz super powers. They R jealous and dont think he should have them powers. Take that copperz.

Wow...This post started in 2004?? I'm in definite agreement they should have done this storyline and should still do it. It would enable them to get rid of Routh and have the son play Superboy in the 3rd installment and then find someone better to play Superman once he is reborn in the 4th film.
