October 14, 2002 — Apparently, WB is already going ahead with the next Scooby sequel tentatively titled Scooby-Doo 3. The studio has already hired writers Dan Forman and Paul Foley to begin the script.

Having turned in a rewrite to the Jetsons script (another cartoon to big screen movie adaptation in the works), the studio was pleased with the draft and wanted Forman and Foley to work on Scooby Doo 3.
