There's one question that's been bugging me for a while now - why in the hell is Paul Anderson directing AvP? How come warning sirens didn't start flashing when they studio saw Resident Evil? Okay, i know this isn't a Resi thread, but come on! How could you hand over the task of directing one of the most highly anticipated face offs between two of sci fi's most beloved lickle angels, to some one who made the licker look like a turd with claws? I'm so paranoid that that this film will be majorly let down by the special effects. i'm really looking forward to it, but worried that i'll leave the cinema feeling as dissapointed as i did when i saw Resi. Will i be thinking the same thing? Great story, but crap creatures?
i love the alien and predator movies, i grew up with them, it's such a horrible thought that the way they looked in the past will be changed beyond recognition. Remember the alien queen in Resurrection? |
