September 17, 2003 — Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson denied to SCI FI a persistent rumor that he is going to star in a proposed third Predator movie by taking over the character of Dutch, which was originated by Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"I think somebody on the Internet started that [rumor]," Johnson said in an interview. "I think probably the writer."
honestly I think who ever would consider putting the Rock's name next to the franchise is out of their mind. The actors these days are pretty corny. How a bout someone with a little more experience and skill. That means no actor that debuted in the 90's!!!!!!!! Arnold helped make that first movie a classic and he's been at it a while before the film came out...although I still think it was stupid how he killed the Predator...in fact I think it's stupid how the Predator in all the Predator movies come all the way across the gallaxy and get killed...especially by Danny Glover. Somebody needs to fix this.
