You know, after seeing Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale I immediately thought he should have played the older Anakin in AOTC and ROTS. I watched an interview with him on Jay Leno the other night and he was so natural and personable and hearing him speak in a normal fashion made me really wish Lucas had thought of him sooner. He really really could pass for an older Jake Lloyd and he has a good deep voice. I think Anakin's anger would have been so well portayed by Heath.

Does anyone agree that he would have made Episodes 2 and 3 a thousand times better?

He's great and would have been great as Anikin.

A Knight's Tale is one of my favorite movies.

I don't know... I like Heath Ledger in the Patriot and stuff, but it would have been weird seeing him in Star Wars.

not a bad idea actually, though I didn't really care for a knight's tale.

Would you believe I just finished watching that movie!

and yeah it is a heck lot better than ROTS,
Fledger is someone I would consider to really play Anikin, not that Christian was bad, but hey I think Fledger could have really added to the the darkside feel.

I couldn't dissagree more. If Chaucer lived today, this is exactly what he would want as a a film version of one of his Cantebury Tales. If he knew his book, which was basicly intended as a big F-U to literature of the time, had become the very example of literarty greatness he dispised, this is exactly the kind of movie he would have wanted.

So what did people not like about the movie?
