for me, its a tie between maul and vader

Vader without a doubt. He's the most powerful Sith Lords. He can kill Maul & Dooku without beating a sweat. Thought he did the latter one easily.

The whole Darth Tyranos thing was really cool and exciting to watch and try to understand, he is a more understood character in my mind.

Darth Maul, besides being played by Ray Park and getting to watch some more wicked moves, the guy is fairly useless, just put in for the audience, he didn't really have to be there.

Darth Vader (After the new trilogy) is probably the coolest character, everyone thought so when he was in the first trilogy. He is just bad arse, He was pissed off allt he time, he's look scared the crap out of people, his voice was terrifying. It's just Darth Vadar.

Maul had the same effect on me.....he just brought this kind of "coolness" to Episode 1 and I thought his moves were amazing. The part when him and Obi-Wan battle it out like CRAZY...and they go so quick wth every move that it just made the whole movie 10 times better!!!

I also think Darth Mauls's face was the most terrorizing until Episode 3 when [SPOILER] The Emperor's whole face becomes dedormed due to his lightning bouncing off Mace's Lightsaber [/SPOILER].

All in all, Darth Maul is still my favourite Sith with Vader close in second.

Gotta agree with Cloud, Sidious was the best.

Although i love the sophisticated evilness of Dooku, how can you not be impressed by Sidious flinging senate pods about as if they were frisbees!? And what's more, cackling to himself as does so! No one's shown that level of control through out the movies.

Sidious was so manipulative and twisted, but he was genious. Evil personified basically, which just makes him great to watch.

...even if he does fall arse over tit when Yoda knocks him back over his desk

wat u gotta remember is that obi beat Maul when he was just a padwan.
And obi retreated when he fought Anakin.

Sidious only whimped out if you believe Mace truely beat him. The acting weak and defencless was just a ploy to lure Anakin into helping him, and thus side against the Jedi. It's debatable whether Mace out-duelled Sids or not, but there's no denying Sidious wasn't more than capable of overpowering Mace with the Force. He wasn't weak at all, it was an act.

And Vader would have become more powerful than Sidious, but thanks to Obi-Wan, Vader became Robo-Sith and this future potential was stripped away from him. From then on, as Lucas has said, he levelled off at about 80% compared to Sidious.

Sidious wasn't just powerful with the Force, he had the smarts too. He of all the Sith during their 1000 generation leave of absence was the only one able to reaffirm their place in the Galaxy. But he was able to totaly crush the Jedi in the process and gained total galactic domination.

Darth Vader was deffinatly the best and strongest of the sith that we got to see anyway. I liked Darth Vader before he made that foolish mistake and was defeated by obione: seeing him kill the seperatists leaders was one of the coolest scenes in the movie.
Darth Vader was capable of much greater power than was we see; i really wanted to see him shoot some electricity.

Lucas talked about how Darth Vader had mixed feelings when he fought obione and could not control his power which is why obione was able to defeat him. i guess you could say i was dissapointed, but if Darth Vader really did reach his full potential then eps. 4,5 and 6 would be completely different.

I believe that Vader was the best sith. There was no way to stop him. although mysterously he always managed to evade death. His character could have done so much more. So my vote is Vader all the way!

If sidious was sooooo Arnie (tough) he wuld ave bin able 2 c dat Vader was gonna kill him at d end ov ep 6.
i no he woz zapping Luke but he had plenty o time b4.
and let us not 4 get twoz Vader who killed all o d Jedi in the Jedi Temple not Sidious.
