For the most part, the Black Panther is an unknown hero, in comparrison to most other heros. But I'm totally excited to see this movie in developement!! This huge influx of superhero flicks is just fantastic- especially with modern special effects and CGI. (Remember the TV spiderman movie?? ............) But I did have one comment to make about one of the reviews- this guy was obviously black, and was commenting on Wesley being great for this role, and that he always plays a black man. (DUH.) Then he says that Vin Diesel is "afraid" to admit that he's black. (??) (Dude- just because someone has SOME African blood does NOT make them black.) I'm not German-American, or Scottish-American, or Irish-American, but I'm German Scottish and Irish. I'm just an American, and that is what you are. An American. You can't change that and I can't change that. You need to just be proud of who and where you are, today. And even though I'm white, I'll be in the theater watching this kick-@$$ movie right there with you. (If you're in Washington state that is!!)

Speak for yourself. We may be born in america unlike our ancestors and it's a little better than other parts of the world but that doesn't mean we take pride in it. we have a bad history and present when it comes to america. The guy you mentioned probably wasn't talking about that i'm a quarter this 10% that nonsense. If your half black you black. To my knowledge that's how the world see's it and how I see it. The vin diesel thing is how we see it in the black community. whether it's based on an interview or how you act or things you do. That's just the way we see him, if you don't that's fine but I think whoever said it shouldn't have in the forum because it has nothing to do with the movie. But then again neither does half the stuff we talk about in here. For the most part the black community rarely thinks about race unlike what you would think unless something big happening and from current and past knowledge and experiences you know it's racist. There's no denying there are still racist (towns, people) and hate groups. And while the sentiment is noble that we are all just americans and you may see that way but as there are now blue and red states you can see that there are many who do not feel the way that you do.I hopes this ends this here i really didn't wanna get roped into another religion or is gay right? type of dicussion. anyway, when I go to the theater it doesn't even register in my head the color of the superheroe unless they change his color like kingpin in daredevil or fury in the ultimate avengers animated movies.(which did not come in theaters, I know). I think they should stick to the script when it comes those things. Wesley snipes always playing a black guy. (scratching my head) Imma just have to chalk that up to maybe being a joke or something.

anyway lets talk about Black Panther.
he's under appreciated simply because he doesn't get out much. you could say he was a home body
. He doesn't fight on other planets, and contintents he sticks to his homeland kind of like spider-man but he's in new york so you know. whether skin color plays a part I really don't know but I doubt it. I was never that intrigued with black panther though I like the name. but there are plenty of comic villians and heroes who are even less talked about than he is. you don't here no one bringing up a scarlett witch movie. or how about Hypekind or Stygmata. (and right now your scrathing your head saying, who?) exactly.

He's a black man that's a king of an advanced civilization, that's more advanced then the rest of the world. Of course he's gonna be unappreciated.

I disagree on some of those things you mentioned. You said "BP doesn't get out much." BP fights all over the world. In the comics he teamed up with Luke Cage, Brother Voodoo, Blade, and Monica Rambeau to fight vampires in New Orleans that was affected by Hurricane Katrina.

And I think his skin color also has something to do with it.
