Batman Begins “Pleasantly Surprised!” — mividaloca [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Nothing Entered Yet! Movie Review: My thoughts on this movie... When I go to the movies these days, I usually go ready to be disappointed. Hollywood is so starved for talent and most of what it puts out into the market is like regurgitated vomit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Batman Begins. It was very interesting to see the transformation of Bruce Wayne into the Batman. That is a story that the other Batman movies have failed to tell. As an avid fan of the 'Dark Night', I felt that Batman Begins captured the true nature of the superhero - that dark, brooding, and menacing character that we all love from the pages of the comic book. Christian Bale's portrayal was brilliant. He was an excellent fit for the role. The director, Chris Nolan (I hope I got his name correct), did a fantastic job. I hope to see more of his work in the future. I really liked this film. I would recommend it to anyone who loves The Batman. DVD Review: N/A Thoughts on the DVD release of this movie...
