| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

Well I went to a midnight showing of Batman Begins..I walked away a little satisfied in knowing that it didnt suck like Batman and Robin and there were no cheesy dialogue like "putting you in the coolah" or something like that...
The movie was really in depth into the hardcore training of The Bat,and the reality of how he came into being.
The ScareCrow was a very interesting villain,and I did enjoy the fact that the focus wasnt on the villains but on Bruce/Batman and how he adjusts to his fears/inner demons.
I was left a little disappointed during the scene of Bruce's parents death.I was really hoping that Nolan would feed off of the original Batman with the "Ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight"...Instead we're left with what seems to be an alternate depiction of what happened.
The ending reveals a little teaser on a villain that escaped from Arkham with a group of baddies...Im curious as to how this will be worked out unless Nolan is just changing the overal method of what was portrayed in the "Keaton" Batman and his parents slaying...
Maybe Im confused...
Overall a good movie...Lagged a little near the end,but Id definitely say the franchise is resurrected and that Bale is an excellent choice emotionally and psychologically as Batman.... |
