| Personnely, if you want my oppion, Pegiun wouldnt take seriously in todays film industry, the new batman franchise has a more darker approach where i always felt that Pegiun in both 60's series, cartoon and returns movie all appled as a comical outlet to the movie. The movie industry have kind of left that out of more serious movies because it generated alot of hate for the movies from serious fans. Take star wars, CP30 and R2D2 where most comical characters to have around they served not much purpose to the movie but they were a little bit of a side humour in this movie, back then that was ok to have in the movie however in the new star wars trillogy, phatom mence, attack of the clones and revenge of the sith, They almost made the same mistake, luckly they notices by the first movie and got ride of him, yes Jar Jar Binks kind of took over the comical role but he got the most hated review of all time, Hence why he had a cameo in the second and im not sure he was even in revenge of the sith, might of been but i dont remember seeing him. Anyway kind of moving off topic, Jason Alexander as Pegiun in my oppion he is took young looker, The right build, The right voice, but with pegiun you need someone a little older to play the part. However Jason does have a good vocal approach, So i would say No for him in the movies but He would be great as the Pegiun in the animated series. If they needed to replace the voice of pegiun in the current The Batman cartoon then he would be great to take over. |

While I disagree that Penguin is a comedic character and that he would not work in a new Batman movie.
My problem with him is simply that I find him to be uninteresting. He's just a small time hood who's excentricities have made him more popular and/or obvious. I would be fine if they used him as a cameo. But the Penguin never deserves top billing as a Batman villain.
As much of the country is left stranded for Christmas due to a storm, I wonder what are their thoughts on the credibility of Global Warming? HAHA...
Been saying this for YEARS |

unless its danny devito.... I thought he made the penguin the best... probably the best villian to be portrayed in the pre schumacher era of batman The Metal-Head X-STUD
