September 28, 2001 — Ben Stiller tells Anderson Jones why he hasn't been having fun doing interviews:
Like everybody else, I'm sad and affected and depressed and incredibly moved by our fellow countrymen and what they've done," Stiller says. "It's really not a fun time to have to go out and do interviews. I don't even really feel like it, honestly. Because it just feels kind of silly."
As to why he decided not to delay the release of the movie:
"It was important for me to let the movie come out because it's a comedy, and I wanted people to have a chance to go see something funny and hopefully have a distraction," he explains, "if they felt like it."
