July 3, 2001 — A semi-positive review with minor spoilers was submitted to Coming Attractions. Here's a clip:
"All in all this movie tried to capture the mood of Austin Powers, ( our hero is clueless and the female lead hates him at first then strangely falls for him ) but there's the problem, it isn't original like an Austin Powers or even Dude, Where's My Car?
"My suggestion wait for it to come out on video, get drunk with your friends, and maybe you'll enjoy this movie."
