I saw Vanilla Sky, and, although I dont remember what
song was playing during the club scene, I do know that many of the songs that were played during the movie were written and some performed by Cameron Crowes wife. Her name is Nancy Wilson, former member of the rock group Heart. Her sister was the lead singer and Nancy was lead guitar and wrote many of their songs also. The song you are refering too may very well be one of hers. The song that was played by Cameron Diaz that was supposed to be her was actually Nancy. I hope this helps. If I see the movie again I will pay particular attention to the song in the club.

I think it is Radiohead with "everything in it's right place".

'Loops of Fury' by the Chemical Brothers was played in the club as well. It was the song when Penelope Cruz was dancing and Tom Cruise was at the bar watching her.

Can someone pleaaaaaaaaaase tell me the FIRST song which plays when Cruise goes into the dance club. It lasts all but five seconds. It's not Underworld or Chemical Brothers. I'm going crazy, I gotta find that song.

The track played as Cruise walks into the club is called Indra and is by a band called 'the Thieving Corporation'.
Crowe uses the music fantastically in Vanilla Sky, not just sonically but also lyrically.

Hey All,

Mr. D, Thank you for the complete list of songs used, but maybe its jsut me but i listened to Everything In Its Right Place by Radiohead several times and it didnt sound to me at all like the big symphonic piece that was in the movie when he was in times square, but granted i walked in a few minutes alte and caught it jsut as he was stepping out of his car. Though i lvoed this film and am obssessed with film in general, my short term memory fails me and maybe im confusing it with the loud symphonic beat of the music in the trailer that shows the same times square song. My memory fials me to if they were the same due to be being distracted by my girlfriend because kept trying to change seats. If i have emberassed myself let me know, any light you can shed would be usefull.

Thank you
Musically confused on the opening of VANILLA SKY, PRAXEUM

I loved that song from Vanilla Sky and learnt where to get it from. Send your E-mail to bizhan_has_a_big_head@hot
mail.com and he will reply to you. Just don't mention my screenname, because I ask him questions regularly.
P.S. Reply if you get the answer. If you do not, reply still but quoting: "Do you believe in God?"
