Although I actually liked "Vanilla Sky", I wasn't really given the "thriller" that I was promised. Here's a plot that I thought of for "Vanilla Sky 2" which will be a thriller for sure:

When Tom Cruise (I forgot his character's name in the movie) wakes up from his so-called "dream", the first thing on his mind is to find the people who put him in the "Dream Machine". He makes it to the building and finds his latex mask. He learns that the people who put him in the dream are all science weirdos, and the world must find out what they are doing. It seems that Tom Cruise got his attitude changed, and now he's very confused and very angry. Tom Cruise finds the homes of everyone in the company. He knows where they live, and he knows their every secret! Will Tom Cruise result to murder? Maybe.................

Vanilla Sky was a stupid, unnecessarily complicated, lower quality than Cinemax porn, piece of dog crap.

Abre los ojos is a masterpiece. Vanilla Sky was not necessary. They could easily have not produced the film
So why do you want them to make a seuqle to a film that shouldn't even have existed ??

"Heard about the guy who fell off a skyscraper? On his way down past each floor, he kept sayng to reassure himself: So far so good... so far so good... so far so good. How you fall doesn't matter. It's how you land."

I like wierd movies, it's just who I am (But I didn't care for AI: Artificial Intelligence). There were four scenes I thought were very cool about this movie:

1) Alone in the city
2) The latex mask
3) The Rave scene
4) Tech Support!

Yeah, but all these scenes were in the original Abre los ojos . They are not innovative.
The only good thing that brings Crowe is the soundtrack.
