Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
i was looking forward to this one coz of the genius trailer with Mini-Me
Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
The first 5 minutes of this is classic, probably the best seen in the trilogy. After that it remains at an amusing level, except for the following. Mike Myers overdoes it by playing so many roles in the one film. He should be Austin powers and Dr. Evil and LEAVE IT AT THAT. Cant they afford other actors or do they actually think that Myers playing yet ANOTHER rubbish character is what the fans want. He's simply not that funny as Fat Bastard or as Goldmember. It brings the film down to a level it really doesn't deserve to be at. Also, there are a lot of jokes that fail and could easily have been edited out. It's a mystery why they weren't, but perhaps they love themselves too much by this point to do so. However when it's good, it's very good.
DVD Review:
Thoughts on the DVD release of this movie...
Excellent dvd features and arguably better than the film itself. What annoys me is that the deleted scenes are far funnier than much of the material that didn't get cut. weird. Shot themselves in the foot with that one because if I had one afternoon to re-edit the film it would be far funnier and have a lot more focus.
