Movie Review:
My thoughts on this movie...
I enjoyed Goldmember and thought it was an improvement upon the spy who shagged me, but it could still not come close to what the original offered. Trading plot for more sight gags, Austin Powers still delivers laughs in a plenty, even if he has to resrot to plagerising himself from time to time. I recomomend seeing this movie two times, but not so much for the fact that its thazt good of a movie. The first time I saw it, I went in with expectations way to high for what I should have thought I would see. The second time I found it just as funny, if not more so because I wasn't expecting the world from it. The plot tends to drag at some points, and the ending is a little hackneyed, but it is still enjoyable, if not that clever or original. The opening sequence is brilliantly funny as it was as unexpected as it was funny, and the fact that that many big stars agreed to do it made it all the better. Goldmember was a good movie that is even a little better if you can look past the hype. Thus, my rating of 2 1/2 stars.
