"Robert Wagner reprises his role of Dr. Evil's henchman, Number 2, in Austin Powers in Goldmember. He defended the film's "potty humor" in press interviews.

"This is not like any other movie," Wagner said. "You've heard all of these jokes. We all have. So it's how it's done, right? It's the way it's dealt with which I think is so humorous and so does everybody else. I mean, everybody's falling on the ground over these jokes. We've all heard them, so I think [Mike Myers] has given another edge to them."

Working on the series seems to have been as fun for Wagner as watching the films are for audiences. "We're all very close and it's been such a wonderful experience for all of us. Can you imagine being involved in something like this where everybody is so enthusiastic and full of life about the picture? They come out and they're laughing and having a good time. It's great. Great thrill to be involved in this."
