I was pleasantly surprised. I had gone to the movie just to get a chance to see Brad Pitt and Robert Redford on the same screen and found instead an intelligent spy thriller.

It is definitely a movie that requires close attention to the plot details. At times it threw in what seemed like important information at break neck speed. If you, like me, are sick of movies with mindless plots where the details are spoon fed to you, then you will enjoy the suspense that boils just below the surface without being over the top. Think Patriot Games and in my opinion raise the intrigue a notch and you have Spy Game. I highly recommend it.
