He's a funny guy, definitely, but his work choices of late have been sort of iffy. I'm not saying Pluto won't be decent -- I don't really know enough about it yet -- but short of Shrek and maybe Showtime which I found to be okay, he hasn't done anything super impressive lately. This film was pushed back a LOT.. it's been almost 2 years now since it wrapped.
despite being pushed back so far, i think this movie should be pretty funny. i'm a huge eddie murphy fan and i love randy quaid (especially in kingpin) and i think the two of them will carry this movie well.
