What's it about? Action comedy set on the moon in the year 2087, starring Murphy as the title character, an audacious nightclub owner who finds himself in hot water when he refuses to sell his club to the local mob. The lunar gangsters are helping the mysterious Rex Crater mastermind a plan to take over the moon. Joining Nash in the danger and lunacy are Dina Lake (Dawson), a beautiful earthling who has traveled to the moon to further her singing ambitions, and Nashs bodyguard Bruno (Quaid), a robot quickly approaching obsolescence. Rounding out the cast is Peter Boyle as a pool shark and Nash confidant; Pam Grier as Nashs gun-toting mother; Joe Pantoliano as a moon thug and Jay Mohr as Nashs best friend, an Italian singing sensation.
