| Moulin Rouge walks away with 5 Golden Satellite Awards |
SUBMITTED BY Fred Hill January 31, 2002 — Moulin Rouge walked away with a handful of awards at the 6th Annual Golden Satellite Awards on January 19, 2002. In all they walked with 5 awards that night. The International Press Academy presented the 6th Annual Golden Satellite Awards on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the St. Regis Hotel in Century City, Calif. The award for Best Visual Effects went to Animal Logic's Chris Godfrey, for his work on "Moulin Rouge." The film also received the awards for Best Motion Picture, comedy or musical, Best Director, Best Original Score and Best Art Direction... Click here for the full story. |
