Well after watching Moulin Rouge a LOT of times on DVD, I think I know my favorite part(s).
1. Roxanne Tango - this sequence is so elegantly portrayed, edited perfectly, the lighting is delicious, and the guy bellowing that first note gave me chills. It was an example of how powerful musicals can be, Satine being given the fear of God, the strength love can have, and how a modern-day song (well, an oldie) can seem like such poetry.
2. Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend - Yeah, it may be a bit too loud and obnoxious, but I have to admit, Nicole in that costume was interesting, then when she swung around the crowd and such, I don't know it was just neat. But the best part was when she couldn't catch her breath, and fell from her swing. (Gasp!!)
3. "I'm going away from here- away from the MOULIN ROUGE!" - The scene in which Christian and Satine decide to leave and move away together. It starts with a very tender moment between the two lovers, and then when she goes to get her things, it erupts into a spill of pilled up emotions at Harold. Something about her tears, and her yelling just got to me.
Then again the whole movie is just spactacular, and I hope it wins a few Oscars this month- its deserving. There are those who hate the film, but then there are us who just love it.

 This is my favorite movie, I just love it! I wish I would've seen it in the theater!! I watch it almost everyday!lol. My favorite parts were, The can-can dance, Your song, Elephant Love Medley, emergency rehearsal, The pitch, Come what May, El Tango De Roxanne, Hindi Sad Diamonds, Come what may at the end in Spectacular Spectacular.
This kind of goes off this subject but,Ewan Mcgregor and Nicole Kidman are great singers! It's not fair! lol. I've seen Little Voice, and A life less ordinary that Ewan was in and In little voice he looked really funny, and A life less ordinary he was funny in too. I also saw Star Wars: Episode I.
