O.K. Basically, I could go off on a rant about every negative aspect of this flick(Nicole Kidman,etc.)and throw every spoiler in your general direction; instead, I'll just point out the one thing about the flick that surprised me, Ewan McGregor can carry a tune. When I first heard his rendition of Sir Elton's "Your Song", I was like "Damn, dude. That works." That and the "Lady Marmalade" video was smokin' with the hip-hop quartet of ladies, none of which were even alive when Star Wars was first released; but, hey.....

Hey, I knew he could sing from his work in Velvet Goldmine. Personally, I think that the entire soundtrack is pretty stellar (and a constant play in my car), but I especially LOVE "Can Can Can" by Fatboy Slim, Nicole Kidman's "Diamond's are a Girl's Best Friend", and Beck's cover of "Diamond Dogs". Hot damn!
