Variety reports the winners at the Independent Spirit Awards.

"Memento" won the top prize on Saturday at the Independent Spirit Awards -- the independent movie world's equivalent of the Academy Awards. It also snagged the direction and screenplay prizes for English native Christopher Nolan, as well as the supporting female nod for Canadian actress Carrie-Anne Moss.
