Heads above the rest, actress Carrie-Anne Moss is tall, lanky and statuesque. She would be hard to miss in a crowd. In fact, her appearance is what got the 33-year-old Canadian-born actress her big break. Modeling all across Europe, Moss decided to try her hand at acting. First landing a role on the Spanish TV show DARK JUSTICE and then getting an ideal job on Aaron Spellings MODELS, Inc. Unfortunately MODELS, INC. ended up being one of the few Spelling shows that didnt make it past the first season. Its hard to feel sorry for pretty people I guess.

Alas, a future in American television wasnt to be but that didnt harp on Mosss ambitions. In 1999 she exploded onto the screen with the multi-layered, sci-fi hit THE MATRIX which immediately got her notice from many Hollywood casting agents.
