| I'll keep it short... It rocks!
I must admit I wasn't really a great Hitchhikers fan in the past but I was definitely aware of it and had seen the orignal tv series. Although the film is different in some ways, like some of characters, it still has that great british comedic "don't take yourself too seriously" feel and translates to the silver screen wonderously. It is interesting that when I saw the actors for Trillion, Ford and Zaphod beforehand I wasn't really convinced but I came out thinking they were all EXCELLENT . Martin Freeman is perfect as Arthur Dent (but I thought that beforehand lol), Mos Def is an inspired choice even if it's just for his line about Guildford, Sam Rockwell is a blast and Zooey Deschanel is a great modern-day version of super sexy and super bright Trillion. And do I need to say how great Marvin is? Well, I will anyway. He rocks. I highly recommend this film to all. Go Hitchhiking Now! |
