Rob Zombie is a kick ass musician and from articles I have read a hardcore horror film fan. So when I heard he was making a horror flick, I was excited to see it. Although I have heard about this film for a while, I am beginning to wonder if it is ever going to be released. Is the movie a little to violent or filled with too much gore and/or sexual material that it is not released?

Yeah..the movie was WAY too violent and graphic to get an R rating. It was been toned down a lil' but Rob was also given an additional 7 million dollars to go back and add what he didn't originally get the chance to put in the movie. THis was a lil' over a year ago. The DVD should feature the uncut version of the movie.

Okay, I was already aware that most of the violent parts that were cut to lower the rating to an R-rated film will be included to the DVD release, but I still would like to know if the film is going straight to DVD or is it going to be released in theaters in my lifetime? Thank you.

It is supposed to be put out in March. Should definitely be out at theatres though. The long delay was due to Time Warner(?) not wanting its name on the movie. Supplosedly they told Rob to take it and find another distributor and they wouldn't stand in his way even though they footed the money.

Should be a great throwback to the seventies type horror. I believe it is going to have a similar resemblence to Chainsaw Massacre.

Definitely one of the most anticipated releases in many years. Can't wait.
