June 9, 2003 — MGM shipped out the largest
retail order of DVDs for the release of Die Another
Day then to any pervious movie. It always plans to back that supply worldwide
in the next week.
UPDATED JUNE 6 | MGM Home Entertainment shipped its largest initial retail
order of DVDs for the June 3 North American release of Die Another Day .
The
studio has shipped 8 million copies of the biggest 007 movie ever, with another
8 million copies expected to be shipped overseas by the time orders
from all countries come in.
The studio is already taking reorders for Die Another
Day in the U.K. and other parts of Europe, where the video was released in
late April...
