December 12, 2002 — If, as the saying goes, life begins at 40, then super-spy James Bond has been reborn with his new film, "Die Another Day." The 20th official mission of British agent 007, now playing in theaters, is expected to reap $400 million to $450 million in global ticket sales, more than any other Bond movie, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Chief Executive Alex Yemenidjian said at a conference in New York on Wednesday. MGM's projection would make the film the hottest Bond outing ever by sheer ticket sales dollars. After adjusting for inflation -- ticket prices were much lower in the 1960's -- it would be the best in years but closer to the middle of the pack for all Bond films. The movie has already made about $120 million in the United States and Canada in its first three weeks of release. Click on the link below to read more!
