Ewan McGregor as James Bond????....hmm i believe some star wars freak made that up (dont get me wrong, i loved the orginial star wars trilogy, not the new ones)

besides that kid is ugly and has an annoying voice, and i dont think puberty will really help him out in that department

someone told me that Christian Bale is from britian but i have never heard his british accent....but i only seen him in two movies Shaft and American Psycho and alittle bit of this movie called swinger something i dunno....i like the guy, give he a good hair cut, no long hair he might do well but i heard that Pierce Brosnan wants to do more james bond film, so lets stick with him for awhile, he could last a long time....roger moore did and i think he was 60 in one of his movies

Robbie Williams as Bond was only a tabloid joke. To think that they would really entrust such a long lasting franchise to a pop singer simply cos he dressed up as Bond for one of his videos, is a joke.

Christian Bale is most certainly English, u will notice this if u listen to him as a youngter in Spielberg's Empire of the Sun. The fact that u never noticed him being English in American Psycho and Shaft is a credit to his acting and a further reason why he has what it takes to play Bond. He show'd the necessary charm and wit in American Psycho.

James Bond Auditions: Terms And Conditions

MUST be from UK (the original bond is scottish remember)

MUST appear secret-agent like (so not ewan mcgregor)

MUST be an actor (not robbie williams, hes a good singer though)

MUST NOT be american (sorry but that really would **** up the series)

I hope they never choose an american for james bond....this isnt a new thing, they have been talking about putting an American as Bond ever since the making of Dr. No....after Sean Connery Dropped out again after Diamonds are Forever, they had to choose another bond....United Artist wanted an American, and this what they thought could fill Bond's shoes...Burt Reynolds, Paul Newman and Robert Redford..hahaha burt reynolds, ha!...Also after Timothy Dalton being bond, they thought to have Mel Gibson...now after Pierce Brosnan is going to leave (maybe not, he wants more so lets give him more), they are thinking of Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks, argggg they arent james bond....i think Christian Bale would be alright, hes cool....i think he should play batman (also he is british) so lets keep bond in the British area....there is alot of Brits to choose from so dig deeper before going to America

If ever they choose an american for the Bond character, George Clooney would fill the shoes perfectly. I still believe Billy Zane could also make an excellent Bond (despite being American). Alot of American actors are playing british characters these days and doing a dam good job of it too! I'm British (and proud of it) and it wouldn't bother me whether an American plays Bond. Lewis Collins (The Proffessionals/Who Dares Wins) would have been a great Bond instead of Timothy Dalton back in the 80'/90's.

Clive Owen might be a good 007. He'd be a Daltonesque Bond.
Or one i'd see very good in Bond suit, but it wouldn't be a progress in his perfect career, and they might search one younger Bond, would be Daniel Day Lewis. Charming and cold at the same time. Perfect for 007.
