Being a resident of the Los Angeles area allows me plenty of access to celebrities and since this is a 007 board, this little anecdote holds merit. A couple of days ago, I found myself in the presence of(drumroll, please).............Pierc
e Brosnan, I s*** you not. I was at "The Two Towers". I call them that on account of there are two separate Tower Record buildings, one music and the other video, directly across the street from one another(Tolkien fans might appreciate that bit). Anyway, I'm in the music shop listening to, believe it or not, a 007 soundtrack. The next thing I know, I see, walking into the store none other than Pierce Brosnan, himself. Now, just imagine the surreal aspect of coincidentally hearing the James Bond music when James Bond, himself, enters the room in a black jacket, I might add. I almost peed on myself; however, my bladder proved to be stronger than my spine. As much as I could've and wanted to say something to him, I totally chickened out. He checked out the musical selections, smiled at the lady gigglers in the store, and went about his business while I just stood, observed, and kicked myself for being such a p****. Well, stories like these need to be told for two reasons. One, I didn't have a camera with me; so, no pictures. Two, if the opportunity ever presents itself for any of you, we must always try to be brave enough to at least greet and commend those who entertain us on the movie screen. Even if you come off sounding like a goofbag, nine times out of ten, the celebrity won't remember it; but, you'll be fulfilled and that's what counts.

"Have I no shame? Of course, I do. I just forgot where I left it at."

Well, like I always say, celebrities are still human beings, it's the screen that makes them different from normal society, it is, down to the core, a theory of human consciousness and how we perceive others through something like movies and music...but I'm just babbling.

Can you feel the powah?! I said can you feel the powah?!

Now that is funny.
Would have been even better if he walked over to you and said. "The names Brosnan, Pierce Brosnan".
That really is a great story, you were lucky he didn't suddenly turn around and shoot a gun at you.........
