The film is based on pulitzer prize winning columnist Dave Barry's hilarious, zany first novel by the same name. Anyone familiar with Barry's non-fiction books may have an idea to the kind of craziness that insues around a nuclear device inside a breifcase in Miami. The film is essentially an ensemble piece featuring Tim Allen, Rene Russo, Jason Lee, Janeane Garafalo, Zooey Deschanel, Omar Epps, Dennis Farina, Tom Sizemore, Stanley Tucci, "Jack-Ass"'s Johnny Knoxville, Heavy D, the great Andy Richter, DJ Qualls, Patrick Warburton, Ben Foster, Sofia Vergara.
