In an interview with BBC News, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star Shia LaBeouf says that it looks like a follow-up to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is moving forward.

"Steven [Spielberg] just said that he cracked the story on it before I left and I think they're gearing that up," LaBeouf said. Last summer's blockbuster was made for about $185 million and earned $786.6 million worldwide. It was the second-highest earner of 2008, behind just The Dark Knight.

LaBeouf also briefly talked about the Wall Street sequel that teams him with director Oliver Stone and Michael Douglas. "'Money Never Sleeps' is, I think, the official title now," he said.

Well, I really liked Crystal Skull, so I'm up for another round of Indy. And yes, bring back Short Round. Actually, make Short Round the villain that Indy must now stop. Can Indy kill the surragate son he once knew to save the real son he is just getting to know?

That wouldn't be a bad premise at all. I never cared for the 4th installment. I hope they can make up for it in the 5th.

oh he wont be to old for awhile. he keeps himself in shape. so he wont be kicking to many buckets either for at least 10 years.

Personally, I would rather he killed the NEW son to save the OLD one.

I like Short Round better than Shia (even though he's grown up by now).

I haven't got the impression that they will be ready to shoot next year for a 2011 release, it's possible but I don't see it happening before 2012.

I quite liked Crystal Skull, it certainly had it's flaws, but otherwise was a entertaining movie that worked well with the 50's feel and setting. A search for the staff of Moses or Atlantis could be cool to see, we will just have to what Spielberg can pull together.

I dont know, getting Indy searching for Atlantis, with George Lucas attached to the movie and abble to write a few scenes, makes me think of a scene where Indy has to swim with a strange thing attached to his nose for him to breath under water, just like in the Futurama series, when they find the long lost city of Atlanta, but I imagine this scene with Indy swimming, along with a mermaid, 2 or 3 of his friends, a girl, and in the way down, you can see different kind of creatures, and then, oh my god! you see a bunch of Jar Jar Binks swimming toward Atlantis!

Yeah, George Lucas is on the house.
