You know, I consider myself a true geek, and even *I* think that it's sad that someone goes through a movie like that so meticulously to pick out mistakes such as overturned ketchup bottles and crew cables. Those things aren't even all that OBVIOUS.
Dude you can consider yourself a geek or whatever, but this is Indiana Jones we are talking about
Sure, if it was a MAJOR mistake, like if you saw someone in the film playing a video game, or enjoying a Starbucks coffee, then sure, that's something to point and laugh at.
But from the looks of this, it looks like people went to see a movie specifically to point out mistakes.

The reason we are being so annoying is because this movie is or was supposed to be a classic like the others. We aren't taking about Dare Devil 2 or something, this is Indiana Jones made by the biggest names in film and they let us down hardcore despite the money its making based on hype.

1. Firewall was really good. 2. He has a movie coming out this August again, Crossing Over with Shaun Penn.
Allright, time to give my two cents. Firewall is one of the worst harrison ford movies ever, hardly a plot in it.
His name is Sean Penn, though pronounced like Shaun.
Those Mistakes were taken from MovieMistakes.com, don't believe that site, an enourmes amount of listed mistakes are themselves simply wrong sometimes idiotically obviously wrong. When LotR came out, the first one, they listed that there were no shots of the pony crossing the mountain, allthough he was visible in every single one, even had close ups!
And about that Fridge scene. Well I guess it's hardly less plausible than parachuting from a plane in a frakking inflatable boot! Indy was never EVER EVER known for it's realism, so stop expecting it.
Indy 4 is exactly as cheesy as the first three, definitely not less believable, surely not more realistic, and it shouldn't.
Now the reason why Indy 4 is "such a let down" (which in my eyes, it wasn't) is because movies like that (like the old indys) simply don't work in todays cinemas anymore as well as they used to.
Indy is Indy as Indy was, used to be and should be!
admitted, the sci-fi stuff was a lil ott . . . but certainly true to the era.
and btw if Indy 4 is in your opinion the let down of the decade you frankly missed a large amount of movies. What about AVP1, hmm? Waited for a decade for the contents of a trashbin -a utinam-

I disagree with all your comments except for the AVP movies which while they sucked are still nothing compared to the anticipation of Indy 4. ps. I could care less if I'm spelling wrong because I'm not in school and you aren't my teacher you are just another dork I'm talking to online. hehe

Well, how about you tell me 'why' you disagree with all of it (interestingly enough, some of the "comments" are actually facts, thus not something you can disagree with) and don't just insult me, because that really doesn't strengthen your argument.
And yes, you should care about all of that, after all this is a discussion board, where people come to discuss things, or not?
If there is no spell check then I could care less plus half the people on this website are minors. Aside from the errors in the film I hated the out-landish and rushed plot, the meaningless and under developed side characters and the dead begining and rushed ending. Oh and the cheesy lucas jokes (monkey scene, fake cgi ant scene, completely lame soviet bad guys) enough?

Now we are having a discussion and now, it's not enough. Every statement allows rebuttal and so on. So in other words: we're just getting started.
I whole heartedly agree with you about the minors. But don't you agree that that gives us adults all the more reason to act as such? i.e. not insulting someone for contradicting you and maybe check out the facts before ye post something. I don't care if ye wright a word wrong, I do so myself, but with names that's something completely different. Ye could mean someone whilst writing someone else's name.
As for your film criticism, well, good point, I agree, more or less, I really don't like those monkeys, makes no sense no matter how ye put it. But to say this movie has more lucas jokes than 1 to 3 can't be correct, since Lucas was intensively involved in the writing of the old ones as well.
I for one liked the cheesy soviets, but maybe that's because I study slavistics.
Every single Indy movie has a dead beginning, not sure what ye mean by that, but if ye're refering to the in medias res opening of the film, well the first one starts of in middle of the jungle without any sort of introduction, the second one starts of in some weird night club without any kind of introduction and the third one . . . well I kinda forgot how that one started . . .
The rushed ending, well yeah, don't really get that one either, it builds up to it, step for step, not in leaps but in steps, again, that's just my personal opinion.

So then you agree with me. And I disagree, every other indy film had an exciting beginning-the boat scene, the james bond-like asian scene, and the rolling stone ball! I lived in Russia for a year and those soviets are nothing like Russians but then again who knows how acurate the Nazis were to the real disgusting thing.

Well, I didn't expect them to be accurate, neither the nazis nor the russians. But where would the fun be, if they were 100% accurate, that would turn a feel good movie into a drama. -a utinam-
