Well, Tomb Raider Chronicles seems to believe so, as they have reported news of the possibility of "Tomb Raider" being up for a Special F/X Oscar. The website stated that Paramount Pictures have been contacted by the Oscar Watchers about Lara Croft and next years prestigious awards ceremony.
