The invading aliens in Ivan Reitman's Evolution quickly morph from single-celled amoebic shapes into really big, ugly, worm-like things -- hence the title of the movie. The evolution of movie aliens has followed a similar path, starting simply, with cheesy rubber costumes, and growing more and more complex, until all costumes were forsaken for computer graphics imagery. Here, like a Museum of Natural History exhibit come-to-life (or web), we look at 50 years of movie aliens.
