June 4, 2001 — David Duchovny put on his movie star hat for the Hollywood premiere of his new comedy, 'Evolution'. The film, directed by Ivan Reitman, is kind of "'Ghostbusters' meets 'Men In Black'", and Duchovny says it's just Reitman going back to his 'Ghostbusters' roots with sci-fi humour. In fact, Duchovny - who's most famous for playing FBI Agent Fox Mulder on the cult TV series 'The X-Files' - admits that "his baggage" from the show helps make the film work, although he insists he just doesn't get "the in-jokes" that audiences are getting. Starring alongside Duchovny is Julianne Moore, who confesses she wanted to do a big goofy comedy simply because she knew nobody expected her to. Check out the link below for more. |
