Hogwarts Letter up for Auction

November 7, 2002 — Harry Potter's acceptance letter into Hogwarts school is being auctioned off at E-Bay to raise money for charity.

Ananova has the story:

The letter was used in the film version of Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone.

It is being auctioned to raise money for the Starbright Foundation for children facing life-threatening illnesses.

The auction also includes boxing gloves signed by Muhammad Ali and an autographed book and CD from Sex and the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker.

The auction will run through Nov 12 and fans can bid for the item here
