Lord Of The Rings to hit video and DVD later this year
The video and DVD of the first Lord Of The Rings film are due out in the US in August.
A UK release is likely to follow in September.
The DVD will be a double-disc set featuring two hours of extra material.
It will include a 10-minute behind the scenes preview trailer of The Two Towers.
An extended version of The Fellowship Of The Ring is also to be released on video and DVD, shortly after the second 'Rings film hits cinemas.
The extended video and DVD versions of The Fellowship will include more than 30 minutes of extra footage.
They are released in the US in January 2003, but no UK release date has been set.
