January 24, 2002 — New Line Cinema distribution president David Tuckerman let in, Page Six, that the studio has plans for adding footage from the second movie, "The Two Towers" to the end of "Fellowship."

According to Tuckerman, the footage will be longer than a trailer. "We're going to give (audiences) a preview of ('Two Towers')," he reported. "We're going to change the last reel out and do a preview of 'Two' at the end of the last reel. (Audiences) are screaming for it."

The earliest the preview would be added is March. "I'm sure (it would be) after the Oscars. are voted and the ballots are done," Tuckerman explained. "I'm pretty certain we'll end up doing it."
