~"I would cut off your head, Dwarf, if it stood but a little higher from the ground," he said.
"Now, that's out of order, man," said Legolas, "I mean, you can cut off his head if you want, but to make fun of his height? That's not on."~

"Well, I'm back," he said.

Liv Tyler's acting was cringe-worthy ("Where the others are, I do not know" ... ugh ...), but other than that the cast was excellent, particularly Sean Astin, Sean Bean, Hugo Weaving, Ian Holm, Viggo Mortensen and Christopher Lee. But the best of all was Dame Ian McKellen, who should have won an Oscar, even if it was for Best Beard. He deserved one.
Ron is brave, Mr Kloves ... B-R-A-V-E!!!

I thought that this was a once in a lifetime casting and Peter Jackson saw something in them that made this series of grand movies the EPIC it truly is. Some have called it a trilogy, but im sorry to say this they are wrong, there are plenty of trilogy worthy movies out there, but these movies are so far beyond that. These movies affect people right down to the core, especially the actors whom I think may well go on in their careers and do even better work, because they did this movie!
I was completely impressed with every member of the cast: Elijah, Ian McKellen, Ian Holm, Orlando Bloom, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, Andy Serkis, John Rhys-Davies, Hugo Weaving, Viggo Mortensen, and one of the best ones of the bunch....Sean Astin, he is the one above some of the others I think has been making a great deal of impact on me. I think the whole cast deserves some recognition by the SAG people, the Oscar people, and The Golden Globe People and others as well!! Individually, They've all brought their characters to vivid life, and I still think Ian McKellan deserved the Oscar for the first movie. But, im sure ROTK will get some nods for this next oscar race, my pick for best supporting actor....Sean Astin. Thats essentially what he did in the movies so far, supported Frodo in what had to be done, no matter what happened, or who they happened to meet along the way. We shall see what happens when oscar comes about.....
Rhino Of the CD Spidey Club!
Hal Jordan Of The CD Green Lantern Corps!
Clark Kent of the CD Smallville Club!

no evil shall escape my sight,
let those who worship evil's might,
beware my power,
Green Lantern's light!" |
