Osiris1428 said: these are the choices (I wanted to limit it a bit) 1)Doc Ock,2)Kraven 3)Venom 4)Carnage 5)Kingpin 6)Electro 7)Green Goblin(the son of the first) The Spider Slayers 9)Rhino 10)....ok ok I hit block in memory. Forget the limit. And as for costume changes for the hero in movies, this time around Spidey's got the best I've ever seen! yeah , even better than Super-man's!Anyway's Holla back.
1- Doc Ock- A good choice. I'd put it a #1
2- Kraven- Another good one. I'd put him in the 3rd film though.
3- Venom- No No No No No No No No No
4- Carnage- If there's no Venom, there's no Carnage.
It might be cool to have Eddie Brock make a cameo, or have Cletus Cassady's murder trial on the news in the background or on the front page of the Bugle. They have no business in a live action film. It just wouldn't fly for a national audience.
5- Kingpin is going to be in the upcomming Daredevil movie, so it's unlikely.
6- Electro- I've never liked him, though the version of him in Ultimate Spidey has potential.
7- Green Goblin the 2nd- Too cliche'
8- Spider Slayers- Like Venom and Carnage, this would be too over the top for non-comic reading audiences.
9- Rhino- He'd have to be a henchman for somebody. He's too stupid to go solo.
10- Scorpion- Has potential
11- Vulture- Too goofy.
12- Morbius- Too dark, but it would be cool.
13- Lizard- Has great potential! A strong contender! Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. |

There should be two trilogies. Batman had four, and Superman had five, so Spidey should have six.
-The first should be the origin and set up Peter's rotten life as a geek turned super hero. He should also be coming of age as Uncle Ben dies and he should have his first encounter with a super villain, the Green Goblin. So far, Raimi's got all of this down.
-The second should feature Spidey going off to college as his romance with MJ buds. He should meet Dr. Connors, his professor, and bond with him nicely. He, being the star student, should help with the Lizard project. With the terrible creature lurking about the city, the infamous Kraven the Hunter comes to kill the beast. Felling responcibility for what has happened, Spidey must protect the Lizard from Kraven as he tries to turn Connors back. Also, he and Aunt May should be dealing with the move to college. Gwen may also come in for the love triangle.
-Mary Jane and Peter become engaged, and Mary gets a job as a model to help pay for the wedding. Her modeling career leads to a role in a television series. Quentin Beck, the special effects guy, becomes infatuated with her. This leads to trouble as he is psycho. Meanwhile, Mysterio wreaks havok on New York, robbing banks and such. This goes on for a while until Spidey figures it out. So, in a last ditch effort, Mysterio kidnaps Mary Jane and Spidey comes after her. This sets up for some cool illusion scenes in a big honkin' battle. Peter and MJ get married.
-I saved Doc Ock for the fourth because it would be too cliche to have three scientists whose projects went horribly wrong in 3 straight movies. So, world famous Otto Octavious comes to New York to reveal a new invention, the symbiote. This leads to trouble as something goes wrong in the process of the exposition causing the arms to bond to Otto's skin. Also, the symbiote infects him. In this version, the symbiote is not a suit, but a lifeform that bonds with you and eventually changes you into what it wants. Doc Ock survived the blast, and now being controlled by the symbiote, goes on a crime wave. Spidey to the rescue. Spidey defeats the good doctor in their first battle, and the symbiote leaves Doctor Octopus and enters Spidey. Spidey slowly changes over the course to the movie, and he changes his costume to an all black suit and goes out patrolling. He nearly kills a petty crook fleeing a crime scene. Mary Jane gets scared and leaves. Doctor Octopus comes forward and takes hostages, threatening to kill them all if Spider-man doesn't come. Big battle, and Spidey kills Doctor Octopus intentionally. At the end, he wonders what is happening to him.
-Spidey enjoying his black suit in all its splendor. Still upset over MJ leaving, but symbiote making everything better. Spies several crooks fleeing a scene and goes after them. Their leader wears a padded suit and metal wrist devices. Spidey deals with them no problem, except for the Shocker, who gives Spidey a hard time as the symbiote is hurt by lound noises. Also, one of the dudes has a flame-thrower, revealing the symbiots weakness to fire. He goes to Dr. Connors to find out what is wrong. Foreign object in his body is mutating him. Dr. Connors, being told of the shock waves, delivers emergency surgery using sound waves. The symbiote escapes and somehow enters the recently fired Eddie Brock who is carrying a grudge toward Peter who he blames for his firing. He completely accepts the symbiote and it completely changes him. He organically transforms into a scary looking creature, sort of like Spawn's look. Now knowing Peter's secret, he sets out to make his life a living hell. Peter, now back with MJ, sees Venom out on the news. He goes out after him in his old red and blue costume. He loses horribly to Venom who tells him what happened and calls him by his real name. This scares Peter horribly, and Venom says that he will stop at nothing to end all that Peter holds dear. Peter gets nervous and sees Venom everywhere he goes. Brock begins to follow Peter, making his life the hell that was promised. Peter starts using his head and decides to end this. He lures Eddie to a remote location and starts a big fire. After a big brawl, Venom is pushed into the fire and the symbiote is destroyed, as is Brock. In the end, we learn that MJ is pregnant.
-Peter decides to give up his crime-fighting due to the baby coming. With no more pictures of Spider-Man to pay the bills, Peter takes a job as a high school teacher after Mary Jane suggested it. (Ya see where I'm going?) His first day is a bit rocky as he sees what his old high school has degenerated into. On his second day, a kid brings a gun to school, and Peter manages to stop him before any damage is done. Peter's humor and brains quickly make him a favorite among the students. One day, he is contacted by businessman Ezekiel who gives a large grant check to the school. He takes Peter out to dinner that night and tells him all he knows about the Spider giving Peter the powers intentionally before whatever the scientists had done to it killed it off. Peter doesn't believe him. We go through the whole story-line. except now we factor in the fact that Aunt May is in the hospital after a stroke. Peter struggles to be with her before she dies and as Morlun goes after him. In the ned, Aunt May passes away right before the birth of little May. (This could lead to the a spin-off movie, cartoon, or whatever of Spider-Girl.) |

Hey man, great ideas up until #4. Just a few suggestions, make venom CGI, take the Peter/MJ thing a bit slower, maybe marriage at the end, NO SPINOFFS! And remember, in the real storyline, MJ loses the baby. Doc Oc and the symbiote should have nothing to do with each other. The Brock ideas are good. Other than that, great ideas!

I am a long time dedicated Spidey fan, ask me any questions you've got, I'll answer.
Here's my ideas:
S2: Kingpin and the Spider Slayers, He is paying Alastar Smythe's Dad to make them and he is involved in a conspiracy against spidey with Osbourne, who does not appear as Goblin, just Osbourne, doing his "I'm sane" bit.
S3: Doc Ock comes to NY to display his new robotic octopus arms for dangerous chemistry work. Doc Ock almost knocks out MJ on accidentwhile swinging around his arms, Spidey sprays the arms with webs, Ock loses control, falls into big Bowl of liquid, comes out Doc Ock with a deep hatred for Spidey. Final Battle in a train...maybe a plane, just doesn't seem right though...
S4: Hydro-Man and Sandman. Two partners in crime are robbing Norman Osbourne's Chemical Plant when Spidey come in to the picture, they're fighting and a two big barrels of chemicals crash down onto the crooks, they awake in jail where they discover their powers and escape to go on a Crime Spree, ending in a big battle between Spidey and the accidental combination of Hydro and Sandy: Mud-Man(Yes, this is in the comics.)
S5: Harry Osbourne takes over for his dad as the Goblin while Spidey sports his brand new Symbiote costume. At the end, Harry is impaled and The symbiote is off Spidey and meets Eddie Brock.
S6: Spidey's marriage comes together and Venom appears. At the end after a battle with Venom, Spidey retires after Aunt May Dies. Last Spidey Movie. Member of the Iron Wolves!

S2- This story is waaaay too similar to one used in the last Spidey cartoon. Also, since the Green Goblin will most likely 'die' in the first flic, that would preclude his reappearance in the sequel. You should always wait a while before you raise the dead.
S3- You're correct, it just doesn't seem right. It's all just a little too reminicent of how Jack Napier became the Joker in the first Batman movie.
S4- This story suffers from the same Batman formula as S3. In addition, it could suffer from another Batman problem: too many villians. After the travestys of the last two Batfilms, I would hope we had all learned that too many villians spoil the movie.
S5- Not enough details. Elaborate.
S6- Good, if a bit vague. I like the idea of killing Aunt May. That old broad should have been six feet under twenty years ago. If she were to die in a film, they would probably follow with her death in the comics. They did the same thing with the marriage of Lois and Clark. They couldn't be married in the TV show until they were married in the comics. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong. |
