The true story of Nosferatu

SUBMITTED BY glo

April 9, 2001Scifi.com's Dennis Etchison gives us a great review of the Lions Gates' "true" story of the making of the film silent classic, Nosferatu. The film, starring John Malkovich as director F.W. Murnau, and Willem Dafoe as his lead actor, Max Schreck, raises serious issues about the intersection of art and life. Etchison goes on to say, "A unique and startling little gem that must be seen to be believed. The success of this highly unusual feature will depend on word of mouth and enthusiastic reviews. Consider this one."
