The two-disc Planet of the Apes DVD, due November 20, includes the standard cast and crew bios, behind-the-scenes clips, background on special effects and CD-Rom compatible features. Director Tim Burton has finally decided to provide commentary along with composer Danny Elfman. (Maybe this means Burton has loosened up enough to direct a sequel.) Between the two discs, you'll also find HBO's special, as well as five extended scenes, makeup tests, trailers, commercials and a music video.
