Mine has to be the one with Charleton Heston in it! I really liked the ending when he was riding on a horse on the beach and finds the ruins of the Statue of Liberty, and realizes that he has been home all along. I think that this movie was very well acted in by Heston and of course by Roddy McDowell, who made it actually believable that these apes really did exist and could talk. I hope he received the recognition he deserved for making these movies. Plus the fact that it took hours to get into the ape make-up and I have heard that eating through those masks was difficult. So, which was your favorite and why?------------------You

I love them all. But if I'm honest, my favorite is Conquest. I saw this when I was nine years old. I didn't even know it existed at the time, it just turned up on late night TV (my parents let me stay up late and turn my brain to jelly, and I will always love them for it). I liked it because it was angry. There's nothing better than seeing Roddy McDowall really pissed off! He also does it well in Legend of Hell House.
