| I was right. This film is a boring little ride which has George Clooney cast as a man who walks about talking crap and Brad Pitt as a man who walks about talking crap back at George. this felt like I was watching some boring 50's movie. The critics called this George Clooney's "breakthrough movie and one that establishes him as a leading man". These people obviously haven't seen From Dusk Till Dawn, which actually WAS the movie to do this. Julia Roberts? She looked AWFUL in this film, why the hell would George Clooneys character want her (again!). And any film that hires Brad Pitt and doesn't make him act like a psycho doesn't have the right to hire A-list actors. I could have forgiven the films shortcomings if the ending was any good...it wasn't. A happy ever after cop-out which left me feeling depressed as I'd wasted my time and money. OVER-RATED |
